What is Qatar Airways cancellation policy?
Qatar Airways offers its customers the best services. The airline always tries to make changes to its cancellation policy by introducing new features at regular intervals. The airline wants to make the cancellation process easier so customers can save money on any type of cancellation.
Here are the main highlights of Qatar Airways' cancellation policy:
A full refund will be offered to customers when the reservation is canceled within 24 hours of the initial booking
If a non-refundable ticket has been booked by the customer and is canceled after 24 hours of booking, no refund will be given.
A refund will apply to the canceled refundable ticket. The customer will however have to pay cancellation fees in accordance with the cancellation rules.
Customer will be charged a no-show fee when the check-in process is not completed within the specified time frame
If the flight is delayed for more than 3 hours, the customer will receive a full refund
If the airline cancels the flight for any reason (technical or administrative), customers will get a full refund
Customers who booked the flight with an award ticket will not receive any refund
Customers will also receive a full refund when the cancellation has been made due to the death of an immediate family member, government orders, military orders, court judgment or loss of passport or Visa.
Qatar 24 hour cancellation policy
Under Qatar Airways' 24-hour cancellation policy, the airline will offer a full refund to each passenger. Also, no cancellation fees would be applied provided the scheduled departure date is 7 days or more at the time of cancellation.
There are some points you should keep in mind before canceling your reservation within 24 hours of purchase -
Refundable and non-refundable tickets are eligible for a full refund under this policy, regardless of the type of travel and class of service booked.
Qatar Airways' 24-hour cancellation policy offers a full refund for tickets booked directly through the airline's official website or any other official source.
The 24-hour cancellation policy is only valid for passengers traveling to or from the United States, Canada, and passengers with a US passport.
Said policy will not apply to flight reservations booked with future travel credits, e-gift certificates and e-gift certificates.
Booking the flight ticket with loyalty rewards or miles will not be covered by Qatar Airways 24 hour cancellation.
Any PNR or booking reference containing more than 9 passengers cannot be canceled within 24 hours.
