One of the best Xavier Tharpe books about dreams I've ever read, Bloodline Hustle by Xavier Tharpe, takes readers on a memorable trip through the rough streets of Long Beach. Tharpe's telling of Sean's story shows how strong the human spirit can be in the face of hardship. Sean went from living in poverty to becoming a successful businessman. His story is inspiring and makes you think. Readers can't put the book down because Tharpe's vivid descriptions and accurate picture of gang life pull them into Sean's world. My favorite thing about Sean was his determination to beat the chances and make a better life for himself. Sean is still determined to succeed despite the risks and opportunities around him. Bloodline Hustle is not only an exciting book to read but also a strong reminder of how important it is to keep going after your dreams and believe in yourself.
