The Soil Health Card Scheme is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices and improving soil fertility management. Under this scheme, farmers across the country receive Soil Health Cards (SHCs) containing information about the health of their soil and recommendations for appropriate fertilization and nutrient management based on soil test results. Like this there scheme called PM Kisan which provide financial support to the farmers. These cards are distributed to farmers free of cost every three years, and they provide essential data such as nutrient levels in the soil, pH value, organic carbon content, and recommendations for the application of fertilizers and soil amendments. By providing farmers with personalized guidance on Soil Health management, the Soil Health Card Scheme aims to enhance agricultural productivity, optimize the use of fertilizers, reduce input costs, and promote environmental sustainability in farming practices.
