For long-time Diablo 2 fans excited about Diablo 2: Resurrected, one of the most important aspects of building your character is efficient item storage. With thousands of possible unique and set items to find across multiple character classes and stash shared across all players, organization is key. In this video, Top D2R Streamer "Llamasc" shares some of his best tips for storing items effectively in the new updated version of the game.

One of the first things Llamasc addresses is storing runes. Runes are some of the most valuable items in Diablo 2, used for crafting high-level runewords and skills. However, with so many different rune types, they can quickly become disorganized if not meticulously sorted. Llamasc's method is to separate each rune type into its own individual stash tab. He has one tab dedicated solely to El runes, another for Ith runes, and so on. This makes it easy to scan and find the exact rune needed for a recipe without sifting through a messy pile.

Another tip is to use separate stash tabs for set and unique items. Rather than dumping everything into one large mismatched collection, Llamasc sectioned off specific tabs for stuff like Tal Rasha's armor and weapons, IK armor sets, and other notable unique rings, amulets, and charms. This is especially helpful for building specific sets for magic find or respeccing builds. Players can preview a set in its entirety without having to scroll through unrelated loots. It also prevents accidentally vendoring or tossing a rare item when cleaning house.

Tabs should also be utilized based on character classes. For example, you may have dedicated stash spaces for Barbarian gear, Necromancer gear, Amazon gear, and so on. That way, when leveling a new Necro, all the appropriate leveling items and crafting bases are neatly organized in one spot without needing to rifle through other character's hand-me-downs. The same could be done based on attributes like tabs for strength gear versus dexterity gear.

A final important piece of storage management is keeping spaces open for future finds. Don't fill every last inch of your stash if you haven't discovered all the rare items yet. Leave room to grow and progressively optimize as better base items and well-rolled uniques replace previous fillers. Llamasc recommends keeping at minimum two mostly empty tabs at all times in anticipation of future great finds.

With a few simple tweaks like those suggested in this top D2R item store, players can avoid the stash tetris frustration of the original Diablo 2 experience in Resurrected. Taking a bit more time to thoughtfully organize runs, sets, and items by attribute from the start will pay huge dividends later on when trying to plan optimized builds or share items between toons. Are you ready to up your Diablo 2 storage game? Let Llamasc's tips be your guide to easy item management bliss.
