Partial refunds may be allowed for advance cancellations, but high fees for last-minute changes can sometimes be infuriating. Unexpected emergencies are not considered in the strict approach, and it penalizes the tourist. The most significant improvement NCL can make would be offering more flexible credits or other lenient return terms as it may improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
